Hey there! So, as you probably know, cable TV prices have been going up lately, and it’s not just cable – even streaming services like Netflix and Hulu are raising their prices. Now, it looks like YouTube TV is following suit and raising their prices too.
This week, YouTube is expected to announce a price increase, which will affect both new and existing customers. New customers will start paying the higher price from April 6th, while existing customers will see the new price on their next bill after April 18th.
But, even with the price increase, YouTube TV will still be a more affordable option than traditional cable TV. In fact, a recent report found that the average cable TV package costs over $200 a month, while YouTube TV is currently priced at $72.99 per month. Plus, if you bundle it with a $50 T-Mobile home internet package, it’s still a great deal.
One of the reasons for the price increase may be the new features that YouTube TV has added, such as NFL Sunday Ticket and multi-view. And with cable TV and other streaming services also raising their prices, it’s not surprising that YouTube TV is doing the same.
So, if you’re a YouTube TV customer, be prepared for a price increase, but remember that it’s still a more affordable option than cable TV. And with all the great features and programming it offers, it’s still a great value for your money.
