A sequel to This Is Spinal Tap\u2019 (1984), the film features <strong>Christopher Guest, Michael McKean<\/strong>, and <strong>Harry Shearer<\/strong> reprising their roles as members of the fictional heavy metal band Spinal Tap, who are reuniting after 15 years for one final show. As a musician, I loved the original film and found it hilarious. There\u2019s a reason many consider it the best rock and roll movie ever made, so how would a follow-up sequel hold up after all these years?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Spinal Tap II: The End Continues - Official Trailer - Only In Cinemas Now\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wMQZG9u4Sjg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>All of the original characters return,<\/strong> with the exception of the numerous drummers who have come and gone. Their roles are just as hilarious and enjoyable as before. The film explores what has happened to the characters since the mid-1980s, offering a fresh perspective 40+ years later. Each character and actor appears to understand both the humor and the reality being portrayed on screen.
