CARA’S REVIEW:

Proverbs 17:22 – “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” (NLT)

What makes a dog out of control to one person and completely calm around another? It’s because these animals have a remarkable ability to absorb the mood of the humans around them. They are mirrors to the human soul.

When Briggs and Lulu get off to a rough start, it’s not the dog’s fault. She can see the anguish inside of her handler and reflects it back to him. She only relaxes when he relaxes. Briggs is the one with the assignment to guide Lulu.

Instead, Lulu becomes the guide for Briggs.

Together, they heal.

Be aware of the vibes you put out into the world. They’ll come back to you in spades.
